Mehari Redaei Business Group is developing a modern edible oil manufacturing division designed to strengthen Ethiopia's agro-industrial capacity and deliver high quality cooking oils to domestic and international markets. Located on a 40,000 m² industrial site in Mekelle, our facility is engineered to become one of Ethiopia's leading edible oil production hubs — combining efficiency, scalability and export-oriented standards. Alongside refined oils, we also produce valuable by-products such as soybean meal and peanut meal, supporting Ethiopia's livestock and agricultural value chains.
Modern processing, engineered for scale
Our state-of-the-art edible oil factory is in its final development stage and is scheduled to begin production in 2026. Strategically located in Mekelle, the plant supports efficient distribution across Ethiopia and international trade routes.
